About Us
Suel Printing Company is the parent company of The New Prague Times, Montgomery Messenger, LifeEnterprise newspapers and associated publications, including The EXTRA shopper, and The Source, an annual directory serving the New Prague area.

A tradition of responsible journalism was started with the September 6, 1889 printing of the first edition of The New Prague Times. In 1977, The EXTRA, our total market coverage shopper, distributed on weekends, has been a tremendous companion publication for The Times.
The Montgomery Messenger was founded in 1888. It is a weekly newspaper and is published on Thursdays. The Messenger serves the community of Montgomery and the surrounding areas.
Waterville’s first newspaper was published in 1871. That publication, and others, were predecessors of today’s LifeEnterprise, published on Thursdays, covers the City of Waterville, Elysian and the lakes region in the area.
The Elysian Enterprise, serving Elysian and surrounding areas, was first published in 1893. This publication has now been combined into LifeEnterprise.
The City of New Prague is located in Scott and Le Sueur counties, and the cities of Montgomery, Waterville and Elysian are located in Le Sueur County, among the gently rolling hills and scenic lakes of south central Minnesota.
